In addition to full-time employment, Bri also volunteers her time with a number of organizations to help further the success of international exchange programs and the success of those pursuing careers in social change. - Social Change Career Helping Line
Bri serves on the Career Advisory Panel for the organization’s Social Change Career Helping Line, a crowdsourced, virtual hotline for career advice in social change sectors. In addition to providing career advice to member questions, she also creates content for the PCDN blog. Bri served as a panelist for a webinar on applying to graduate school in September 2017. She also served as a Season 4 guest on the Social Change Career Podcast in March 2019.
- Community Solutions Program
Administered through IREX
Bri served as an application reader and interviewer for the Community Solutions Program fellows for the 2016 – 2017, 2017 – 2018, and 2018 – 2019 cycles. The program offers a four-month professional development and networking fellowship opportunity in the U.S. for community leaders around the world looking to build their community engagement capacity back in their home countries
- Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative
Administered through the Meridian International Center
Bri served as an application reader and selection committee member for the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative Professional Fellows program for the 2016 – 2017 and 2017 – 2018 cycles. The program offers a four-week professional development and networking fellowship in the U.S. for young entrepreneurial leaders in the Americas who are looking to transform their home countries through engagement and entrepreneurship.
- Fund for Education Abroad Study Abroad Scholarships
Administered through the Fund for Education Abroad
Bri served as an application reader and interviewer for the Fund for Education Abroad’s Study Abroad Scholarship program for the 2017 – 2018 and 2019 – 2020 cycles. The Fund offers scholarships to students from underrepresented backgrounds to help them make their study abroad plans a reality.
